Wallet Management

After completing KYB verification, institutions must register their operational blockchain wallets with the CRYMBO Oracle. Registered wallets are the entry point for transaction-level compliance enforcement.

Why Register Wallets?

Wallet registration links your institution's blockchain addresses to your verified identity. This enables:

  • Automatic compliance checks when your wallets initiate or receive transactions
  • Identity exchange between counterparties without manual intervention
  • Travel Rule compliance at the transaction level
  • Real-time monitoring and auditability

Supported Wallet Types

TypeDescription
Hot WalletsOperational wallets used for daily transactions
Cold WalletsLong-term storage wallets (limited Oracle interaction)
Custodian-ManagedWallets managed by third-party custody providers (Fireblocks, BitGo, Utila, Copper)
Smart Contract WalletsMulti-sig or programmable wallets

Supported Networks

  • Ethereum (EVM)
  • Polygon
  • Solana
  • Aptos
  • Arbitrum
  • Cardano
  • XDC
  • BNB Chain
  • Bitcoin & UTXO chains (via indexers)
  • Additional networks added regularly

Registration Process

  1. Navigate to Wallet Management in the CRYMBO Platform
  2. Click Register Wallet
  3. Select the blockchain network
  4. Enter the wallet address
  5. Sign a verification message to prove ownership
  6. Wallet is registered and linked to your institutional profile

Best Practices

  • Register all operational wallets to ensure complete compliance coverage
  • Use separate wallets for different business lines where applicable
  • Keep wallet registrations current — deregister wallets no longer in use
  • Ensure custody provider integrations are configured for automatic wallet syncing
